Hello Forks Nation! I am Steve Tronovitch, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Chenango Forks High School. Through my years in education, I continue to be passionate about creating a positive, student-centered environment where every learner feels valued, challenged, and supported. I believe that education is a team effort, and I am proud to work alongside dedicated staff, engaged families, and an incredible student body to help each individual reach their full potential.

At Chenango Forks we have a tradition of excellence, where we focus not only on academics but also on developing character, leadership, and a sense of community. Whether it is through innovative classroom experiences, extracurricular opportunities, or meaningful connections, we are committed to helping students discover their strengths and prepare them for bright futures. I am excited about all we will accomplish together and grateful to be part of such an amazing school community.

Secondary Assistant Principal

Mr. Chris Spencer

My name is Chris Spencer and I am privileged to be the Secondary Assistant Principal and Assistant Athletic Director. I graduated from Chenango Forks in 2003 and have been teaching in the district since 2009. My most recent teaching assignment was eighth grade social studies, where I also served as co-advisor to the Spirit of ’76 club. I’ve also had the honor of working as High School Dean of Students. In addition, I have coached several sports including softball, basketball, football, and girls flag football.

Chenango Forks has a rich tradition of academic and athletic excellence. I am eager to work with all our students, athletes, and families, to achieve our district vision of being, “a community where all learners grow and excel.”
